Empower Nurse Education’s Leg Ulcer Review Seminar

August 20 at the Newcastle (NSW) Harbourside Convention Centre, Empower is hosting a leg ulcer seminar where etiologies, assessment strategies and interventions will be discussed.

Items of interest include how to differentiate venous ulcers from those with arterial compromise, safe application of compression, the concept of static stiffness and compression alternatives to bandaging.

There will also be an overview of Mycobacterium ulcerans ulcers, as the recent outbreak in Melbourne has made this a topical discussion.
