Managing venous and arteriovenous leg wounds – WUWHS 2024 Consensus Document

The Journal of Wound Care has just released the World Union of Wound Healing Societies’ Consensus Document on assessing and treating venous and arteriovenous leg wounds.

Highlights are:

  1. the importance of ankle and toe pressure readings … to be done in association with ABPI / TBPI, in order to assess for appropriate application of lower limb compression.
  2. the types of lower limb compression and guidance on their selection for clinical practice.
